The first Love Parade in Berlin was held in 1989 with 150 participants. 10 years later the number of attendees had increased 10,000 times to a breathtaking 1.5 Million people. The latest and final Berlin Love Parade was held in the summer of 2006. It has since then been held in other German cities, but after the Duisburg Love Parade in 2010 the organizers decided to shut down the parade permanently.
But now another organizer is hoping to bring back the happy party goers and booming electronic music to the streets of Berlin. A press conference is being held tomorrow, where the organizers of B-Parade 2012 will announce the date of this new parade. Rumors say the parade will be held in the beginning of July. Tomorrow we will find out for sure!
